Learn the theory and practice of making wine!
Barbara & David DelMonaco, owners of DelMonaco Winery & Vineyards along with their Oenologist, Dominic Burke, invite you to participate in a six week course for amateur wine makers. The next class begins on Saturday, April 17, 2010; 10:00-11:00 AM and continues for the next five weeks at the same time.
During this course you will learn the basics of wine making from a professional. The theory behind wine making as well as the practical experience of testing the sugar levels, refining, racking, filtering and eventual bottling of wine will be covered.
At the end of the six week course you will take home approximately 30, 750ml bottles of wine that you personally fermented. All supplies necessary for conducting the course are included in the fee of $295. Class size is limited to ten students. A little bit of homework on your part is required.
